Without fail the middle of the month sees a change in the free games being given away with the Xbox Games With Gold scheme. Now, as we enter into the latter part of May, those games have changed once more, with Lara Croft making a freebie appearance.
If you are the proud holder of a valid Xbox Live Gold subscription then you can now download Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris on Xbox One for absolutely nothing. Yours to keep forever more, the Temple of Osiris is the sequel to the rather good Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and takes Lara off on another little adventure, one in which she seeks the Staff of Osiris.
The game may be getting on to pretty much two and a half years in age, but it still represents a decent playthrough, especially if you can manage to coerce a couple of mates into joining the action with you. Don’t expect a ‘full Ms.Croft experience’, but if you enjoyed searching for the Guardian of Light, just want a game that brings many puzzles, or are looking for a freebie that will keep you busy for a few nights, then Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will sort you out.

Game Description:
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. This all-new adventure takes place in the Temple of Osiris, hidden deep in the deserts of Egypt. Lara Croft arrives at the temple, hoping to be the first inside, but rival treasure hunter Carter Bell has beaten her to the entrance. They each seek the Staff of Osiris, but they discover more than they bargained for. Upon entering the tomb, Carter removes the mythical Staff from its resting place and inadvertently triggers a trap cursing them both and unleashing the evil god Set. But the staff also awakens the gods Horus and Isis, the son and wife of Osiris. Now free from their ancient prison, they join forces with Lara and Carter in order to resurrect Osiris, the only god capable of removing the curse. As Lara and her companions fight their way across the sands and through ancient tombs, they will face gods and monsters of myth and legend. With the fate of the world at stake, Lara must uncover the fragments of Osiris to stop Set from enslaving all mankind.
