by Neil Watton (neil363)September 26, 2017

George Michael, Nena, Soft Cell and Lady Gaga may be behind the originals, but the latest Rocksmith DLC pack puts a bit of a rock twist on some of the most iconic of pop hits.

Available right now are four pop tracks which have been heavily covered by some rock gods. Think Marilyn Manson, think Goldfinger, think Halestorm and think Seether and you could probably already guess at the tracks the team behind Rocksmith have delivered. For they are…

  • 99 Red Balloons – Goldfinger
  • Tainted Love – Marilyn Manson
  • Careless Whisper – Seether
  • Bad Romance – Halestorm

Priced at £2.39 each, with the full Rocksmith Rockin’ Covers Song Pack costing £7.99, the tracks on offer this time round will no doubt appeal to a huge number of rockers. No matter whether you’re grinding that axe to the tunes on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 or PC, you could do a whole lot worse than check out this latest content.

Just make your way over to the Xbox Games Store, or the Playstation Network Store for that matter, pick the tunes you like and get splashing that cash. Don’t forget to let us know which of this pop classics you decide to take a punt on either. About The Author
Neil Watton (neil363)
An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One. A massive racing fan, Forza 4 was the daddy of all Xbox titles but Forza Horizon 3 now trumps that. Online first person shooters are my hell....probably because my reactions are so poor, but give me a little Indie title and I'll be in heaven. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
