It has only been sitting in Xbox Game Preview for a couple of months, but already the team at Crytek are looking forward to the full launch, today announcing that date alongside details of a physical distribution of the game.
So, the multiplayer bounty hunter that is Hunt: Showdown will be seeing a full release on three major platforms this year, breaking out of Xbox Game Preview to launch on Xbox One and PC come August 27th 2019. That will then be followed by a release on PS4 later in the Fall. That release will follow the fact that since release in February 2018 (May on XO), Hunt: Showdown has seen nearly 20 updates and patches, including a new boss, a new map, two new times of day, additional AI, Quick Play, and more than a dozen weapons.
In addition to this digital release though Crytek is partnering with Koch Media to bring the retail version of Hunt: Showdown to stores worldwide. Should you prefer the physical route, you are therefore sorted.
