Due to how well Agatha Knife fared when making the jump to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, the studio behind it have decided that their first title in the Psychotic Adventures series of games, MechaNika, is coming to consoles too. And its release won’t be too far away!
The community wanted it and now they’re getting their wish to play as 7 year old Nika once more when MechaNika gets a bit of a remaster for consoles, ensuring the hand-drawn visuals remain as stunning as ever. It’s a rather dark, but sarcastic adventure in which Nika is on a quest to acquire the necessary components to build a deadly metal weapon – to enable her to destroy the things and people in the world that she doesn’t like, of course. Expect to meet fascinating characters along the way, each with a twisted tale of their own, as well as having to face puzzles with multiple solutions.
MechaNika also features a whole load of references to other games, anime series and even movies, for you (and us!) to geek out over. All we need to do now is wait patiently for the release date to be officially set by Mango Protocol, but it appears that it’s almost ready for launch!
