Manipulate time with The Gardens Between now on Xbox One with Xbox Game Pass

-

When you get named ‘Game of the Year’ at theĀ 2018 Australian Game Developer Awards, then you know you’re on to a winner. That is exactly what The Voxel Agents are hoping to see from The Gardens Between as it releases on Xbox One.

Available right now on Xbox One after previously turning up on PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC, The Gardens Between sees Xbox One players able to join the world of childhood friends Arina and Frendt, as they venture through a world of dreamlikeĀ gardenĀ isles.

Priced at Ā£16.74 and also included in Xbox Game Pass, this is a game that will allow you the chance to manipulateĀ theĀ flow of time, as you fall into a dreamlike state in order to guideĀ theĀ duo through anĀ emotional journey that covers their past. It’ll see you solving puzzles, igniting constellations, and lightingĀ theĀ way to the most precious memories that theyā€™ve shared.

We’ll have a full review of The Gardens Between for you in the days ahead – and you really should be keeping an eye out for that – but if you are tempted in by the premise, the glorious visuals or the offer of some puzzle solving, then you should be heading on over to the Xbox Store right now.

Check it out and let us know what you think of the game by posting in the comments.

Game Description:

Best friends Arina and Frendt fall into a series of vibrant, dreamlike island gardens peppered with everyday objects from their childhood. Together they embark on an emotional journey that examines the significance of their friendship: the memories theyā€™ve built, what must be let go, and what should never be left behind. Lost in a mysterious realm where cause and effect are malleable, the friends find that time flows in all directions. Manipulate time to solve puzzles and reach the apex of each isle. Follow the duo as they unpack and explore their significant moments spent together, lighting up constellations and illuminating threads of a bittersweet narrative.
