If you were one of those who jumped back on the Mega Man hype train with the Mega Man Legacy Collection a couple of years back, then you’ll no doubt be interested in the latest announcement to come from the halls of Capcom – Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 is on its way!
Coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC on 8th August 2017, the Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 follows up the original 8-bit Legacy Collection with a new bundle of titles spanning the evolution and retro revolution of the series. Â
Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 will feature the most recent entries in the side-scrolling series, alongside a Museum jam-packed with history, production art and challenge remix stages for long-time fans. Don’t worry if you’re not a veteran Mega Man player either as first-timer friendly options like added armour and checkpoint saves for easy reload have been included.
But what games will you be getting included in the Collection 2? Well, you will find Mega Man 7 which introduced mysterious rival Bass and his companion Treble and Mega Man 8 which impressively animated and fully voiced cutscenes. Mega Man 9 is also included and that marked the series’ return to its roots with 8-bit visuals, music, and gameplay, whilst Mega Man 10 retained these features and included three playable character options.
We will of course remind you when the time to get involved in the Mega Man Legacy Collection arrives.
