We’ve been waiting patiently for a full release date to be confirmed for the awesome Mekazoo…and now we’ve got one!
The Good Mood Creators have today announced that their neon-infused, free flowing co-op platformer will arrive on Xbox One, PS4 and PC come November 15th 2016. Priced at $19.99, Mekazoo takes inspiration from those platformers of yesteryear, but twists it up with a ton of modern day goodies. Putting you in control of five unique Mekanimals – Frog, Armadillo, Wallaby, Panda and Pelican – you’ll find yourself swinging, boosting, bouncing, climbing and flying through multiple stages with one goal – reach the end as fast as you can.
Although that said, the 10-15 hours it is estimated to take you to complete Mekazoo the campaign and the special unlockable challenges, should be enough to see you going back for more, time and time again.
With both single player and cooperative options available, Mekazoo is the ultimate strategic switcher, with you needing to utilise different animals characteristics in order to make it safely through.
“Mekazoo has been a dream project for Good Mood Creators as we’ve been developing the game since 2012 shortly after graduation, ” said studio co-founder Jarrett Slavin. “We’re honored to announce the final launch date of Mekazoo and are confident that gamers will love this free-flowing, momentum-friendly co-op game paying homage to classic 90’s platformers.”
