That’s right, Milestone and Dorna Sports S.L have just announced that the next chapter in their long-running MotoGP franchise, MotoGP 19, is releasing on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on 6th June. Don’t fret Nintendo Switch owners, as it’s coming to your console as well a few weeks later.
Following on from the success of MotoGP 18, this next iteration – MotoGP 19 – is aiming to be a revolutionary release for Milestone featuring Artificial Intelligence based on Neural Networks, dedicated servers for an excellent multiplayer experience and Historical Challenges to rekindle the legend. Bike enthusiasts can get to grips with technological innovations which enable a level of challenge and realism like never-before as they participate in the 2019 season, race against MotoGP champions, or step into the boots of a young rider, climbing ladders from the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup to reach the top class.
Here’s an overview of what you can expect in terms of innovation from MotoGP 19 upon its release:
SUPER PERFORMING AI WITH NEURAL NETWORKS
To provide the community with the hardest level of challenge, it was necessary to introduce a new paradigm, a revolution. Milestone and Orobix – a company specialising in engineering Artificial Intelligence solutions – have worked for more than 2 years on a revolutionary AI system based on Neural Networks. The end result sees the A.I. become incredibly fast on the track, with extremely realistic behaviours.
A RENEWED MULTIPLAYER EXPERIENCE
With new dedicated servers, the multiplayer experience in MotoGP 19 will be incredibly smooth and gratifying. No lag, so no excuses in the case of defeat. Together with better performances, the multiplayer mode sports a brand-new Race Director Mode to make online challenges with friends even more compelling than before.
JUMP INTO THE LEGEND
One of the most beloved game modes for MotoGP fans makes its return in the form of Historical Challenges. Players will be able to get into the boots of legendary riders and to relive rivalries that made the history of MotoGP.
A STYLE FOR EACH RIDER
In MotoGP 19 there are many new tools available to create a unique rider; choose from the largest selection of the most beloved accessories and brands. With the graphics editors you can create your own self-designed helmet just like real MotoGP champions do and design race numbers and patches too.
A NEW CLASS OF COMPETITION
Just like in the real MotoGP 2019 season, this year marks the debut of the new FIM Enel MotoE World Cup, where zero-emissions motorbikes will challenge some of the most famous circuits of the MotoGP Championship.
That’s not all though as Dorna and Milestone have also confirmed the return of the MotoGP eSport Championship, where players will come from all over the world, with the challenge to win the World Champion title. The third edition of the MotoGP eSport Championship will have a renewed formula, ensuring it’s more spectacular and competitive. More information on that is set to be revealed later this year.
MotoGP 19 is due for release on 6th June for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, whilst a few weeks later it will also launch on Nintendo Switch. Are you excited to hop back onto the bikes and dominate the track when MotoGP 19 arrives?
