You can’t beat a good old bit of puzzle platforming action, and with the launch of the fun looking Mochi Mochi Boy on Xbox One, PS4, PS Vita, and Nintendo Switch, that is exactly what you are getting.

Coming about via the development team at Pixelteriyaki, with the publishing and porting options delivered to Xbox One thanks to Ratalaika Games (they behind the likes of the recent Warlock’s Tower), Mochi Mochi Boy is found to be bringing a host of puzzling action to a new wave of gamer.

Priced at just £4.99 – with an initial launch discount hammering that down even lower to £4.49 – Mochi Mochi Boy on Xbox One tells the story of Mochi Mochi Boy (obviously), a colourful, twisty, snake-like guy who is trying to rescue his friends from the clutches of the devil. To do so Mochi Mochi Boy will have to work his way through 138 floors of puzzling goodness, stretching, warping, manoeuvring and twisting his way across every tile in the land. As you would expect, there will however be plenty of obstacles in the way, and from spikes, spring traps, bombs and monsters, the path that Mochi Mochi Boy will be taking is a dangerous one.

Drop in plenty of customisation opportunities, more than 100 slime friends to save and view, and a dungeon mode which promises the fun of randomly generated levels, and for the super low asking price, Mochi Mochi Boy on Xbox One becomes pretty damn tempting.

Features of Mochi Mochi Boy include:

  • * 138 floors to conquer in story tower mode of intricate puzzle platforming challenges
  • * 10 randomly generated floors in dungeon mode
  • * Customize Mochi Mochi Boy’s colour in paint mode
  • * Collect over 100 slime friends and view them in the gallery

Is this simplistic looking puzzler something you fancy seeing added to your games library? Get yourself worming your way over to the Xbox Store right now and pick up the delightful Mochi Mochi Boy. We’ll certainly be giving it a run out – make sure you keep an eye out for our review. You’ll also find the game on PS4, PS Vita, and, from 19th July, Nintendo Switch.

Game Description:

Mochi Mochi Boy has to rescue his friends from the Devil! In order to do this, you must be clever enough to outwit the devil by stretching, twisting, and warping over each tile past 130+ floors of his tower. Be careful though, once you move over a tile, you can’t go where you’ve already been! Twist carefully for hidden dangers like spikes, bombs, spring traps, and monsters in the devilish dungeon mode. Customize Mochi Mochi Boy’s appearance in the paint area and admire all of his gooey friends in the gallery.
