Morality based RPG Family Man announced for PC and consoles in 2019

-

Publishers No More Robots and British developers Broken Bear Games are teaming up for Family Man, a first-person story-led RPG. The morality of it all is, when pushed to your limits, what would you do for the sake of your family? How far would you go?

Family Man takes place in a quaint seaside village, where regular folk are going about their everyday lives, blissfully unaware of your situation – you owe money to the mob and only have 30 days to pay it back. To earn the required money, you can flip burgers for an honest living, help your fellow neighbours for rewards, or even take on some dirty jobs at the risk of pushing away your family.

It’s your life at the end of the day and for every decision that Family Man throws at you, there are different ways to handle it. Your moral compass must guide you, leading you to either earn cash the legal, more difficult way, or instead break a few laws when necessary. Every decision made not only affects the neighbourhood, but also directly affects your family in some way. Your choices can impact how your family sees you, and could lead to your household becoming stronger than ever, but on the flipside they may well cause the demise of your marriage and relationship with your son.

Finding that careful balance of obtaining the cash and surviving the month without risking and losing everything is crucial in Family Man. Will you be able to pay off the mob, or will you end up sleeping with the fishes?

Family Man will launch in 2019 for PC and consoles.
