San Diego Comic-Con 2018 is fast approaching and it looks like the show will be the place to be for anyone interested in the upcoming LEGO DC Super-Villains. What better way to build the hype of the event than by dropping a new trailer eh!
Coming to Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC come 19th October 2018, LEGO DC Super-Villains is the first LEGO title that allows players to be put in to the centre of a villain-centric adventure. Yep, you can ditch the good guys, for this is all about the baddies and with some of the most iconic locations and characters collated from across the DC universe, all is looking good.
Today though we get to take in a new trailer and this shows how players will be able to create their own DC Super-Villain, and pick their own unique powers at the same time, ensuring that mischievous antics and wreaking havoc throughout the action-packed game will all be par for the course.
With the player’s character becoming the centre of the story, while teaming up with an variety of villains, the adventure through a hilarious and original story written in collaboration with DC Comics will quite possibly bring one of the most interesting LEGO experiences yet.
If you have interest, then you should most definitely be looking to check out the feature for yourself at the San Diego Comic-Con, where a hands-on demo of the game will be playable at the LEGO® booth (#2829), DC Comics booth (#1915) and the Warner Bros. Booth (#4545) during normal show hours.
Additionally, the team behind LEGO DC Super-Villains, including Arthur Parsons (head of design, TT Games) and Ames Kirshen (VP, Interactive & Animation, DC Entertainment), and voice actors Kevin Conroy (Batman), Tara Strong (Harley Quinn), Julie Nathanson (Silver Banshee) and Fred Tatasciore (Solomon Grundy, Clayface, Black Adam, Killer Croc), will give Comic-Con attendees an inside look at the first LEGO game to put players at the centre of a villain-centric adventure packed with favourite locations and characters from across the DC Universe on Friday, July 20 at 2:15pm in Room 6A.
Once you’ve had a watch, and if you feel the hype is building sufficiently, then it may well be worth considering a little pre-order of LEGO DC Super-Villains. The Deluxe Edition (containing Game, Steelbook Case, Season Pass and Lex Luthor MiniFigure) is available exclusively at GAME in the UK and GameStop in Ireland. Those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition get early access to the DC Super-Villains TV Series Character Pack, whilst anyone who purchases the game at Sainsbury’s and Argos in the UK will also receive a Joker dog tag.
