New trailer, images and the all-important launch date revealed for The Bunker

-

Wales Interactive have today revealed the launch date for the upcoming live-action horror title, The Bunker. They’ve also been kind enough to drop in some images and a new trailer too!

Releasing on Xbox One come the 23rd September (with a PC/PS4 release a couple of days earlier on the 20th), The Bunker is a completely live-action experience that has been filmed on location in a real decommissioned nuclear bunker located in Essex, England.

With writers on board who have worked on The Witcher, SOMA and Broken Sword, and an incredible cast including Adam Brown (The Hobbit), Sarah Greene (Penny Dreadful, Assassin’s Creed 3) and Grahame Fox (Game of Thrones), The Bunker not only promises something slightly different to the norm, but an interactive experience that shouldn’t be missed.

It’ll come priced at £15.99/€19.99/$19.99 too and that is most definitely a price point that will tempt us in.

Players control John, the last remaining survivor in an underground government bunker. After a nuclear attack wiped out England, John must stick to the daily routine to keep him sane. The bunker holds many secrets, and when John’s routine is thrown into chaos, he must face his fears and uncover the terrifying mysteries held underground.

Features include:

  • An incredible cast including Adam Brown (The Hobbit), Sarah Greene (Penny Dreadful, Assassin’s Creed 3), Grahame Fox (Game of Thrones) and Jerome St. John Blake (Star Wars)
  • A completely live action, full HD, cinematic experience with high production values.
  • Filmed in a genuine decommissioned nuclear bunker in Essex, England.
  • A complex, twisting plot written by award-winning screenwriters behind The Witcher, Broken Sword and SOMA.
  • Explore the bunker to its deepest depths, searching through computer files, documents and recordings to unlock John’s dark suppressed childhood memories.
  • Complete with achievements, a platinum trophy and hidden secrets, including John’s scattered childhood Wooden Toys for eagle-eyed players.
  • A neo-retro soundtrack by UK composer Dom Shovelton which will be available as DLC.
