What new Xbox One and Xbox 360 games are ‘In Stores This Week’? – 19th-25th March 2018

-

The madness of March continues with five more releases set to hit the stores in the next seven days, featuring pirate adventures, a prison break and Titans hell-bent on causing destruction. If that’s piqued your interest, then let’s get to it and delve deeper into what’s ‘In Stores This Week’ for Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Attack on Titan 2 – 20th March – Xbox One

The gigantic Titans are back to cause even more chaos and devour any humans they come across in Attack on Titan 2. This fast paced sequel looks set to feature a whole host of new mechanics as players get to grips with the Omni-Directional Mobility Gear once again, in order to slice and dice the Titans. It offers an entirely fresh perspective on the action seen in the first season of the Attack on Titan anime, whilst allowing players to also experience the gripping events of the second season. Although the game will revolve around your own created Scout and the relationships made with the key characters of the series, there are other characters that are newly playable in some capacity, such as Annie Leonhart, Hitch Dreyse, and multiple different Titans.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue: Remastered – 20th March – Xbox One

Originally released on the previous generation of consoles, Assassin’s Creed Rogue tells the story of a fearless young member of the Brotherhood – Shay Patrick Cormac – as he embarks upon a dark journey; one which sees him transform into a Templar to hunt down his former Assassin brothers. It’ll take you on an open-world action-adventure, traversing from the freezing cold water of the North Atlantic to beautiful New York City. As this is a remaster, you can expect to find all of the downloadable content included from the original game. That’s two bonus missions – The Armor of Sir Gunn Quest and The Siege of Fort de Sable – as well as the Master Templar and Explorer packs, which contain weapons, customisation items and special outfits. It’s also been improved visually, to run in 4K, ensuring 18th century North America has seldom looked better.

A Way Out – 23rd March – Xbox One

A Way Out is one of those rare games where co-op is a necessity as it’s been tailored especially for two players to have to work together. Leo and Vincent are just two inmates at a prison, neither of whom knows the other, until one day their paths cross and a relationship must be built in order to attempt an escape. You’ll be immersed in the co-operative play as there are intense stealth situations, car chases and good old fashioned hand to hand fighting, to name just a few of the set pieces. There are also the compelling stories of both to add an emotional element to the adventure you’re going to embark upon. If there’s a way out, you’re going to need a friend, either online or on the couch beside you, to find it.
