UFC 3 – 2nd February – Xbox One
The UFC series returns for a third iteration, featuring all the top athletes such as Conor McGregor, Amanda Nunes and Georges St-Pierre. Prepare for the most fluid and responsive UFC game to date, with every kick, punch and block manoeuvre looking better than ever due to the use of Real Player Motion tech, which has recaptured a ton of gameplay animations. Players can experience it across all modes, especially in the G.O.A.T. Career Mode, where every choice outside of the ring means just as much as the performance inside the Octagon.
Those who find one particular aspect of the action more exciting can venture into the multiplayer side of proceedings, with Stand & Bang and Submission Showdown being the standout modes for some fast fun. Other modes available include EA’s usual Ultimate Team offering, and a Tournament mode which sees fatigue and stamina come into play, so there’s plenty to choose from. Who will you knock out first?
