One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 kaido edition

Bandai Namco have just confirmed the release date for One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 alongside news of pre-order bonuses and a very special edition that’s set to be available in Europe. Want to know when it’s arriving?

The upcoming action-adventure and fourth instalment of this particular series, One Piece Pirate Warriors 4, is scheduled to launch on 27th March, 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. It’ll feature ‘Musou’ action, as well as the latest stories, characters and environments from the One Piece anime, including Whole Cake Island. The tremendously powerful ‘Musou’ attacks allow players to take on huge amounts of enemies and clear the field of battle in one fell swoop using their favourite characters.

For those that preorder the game, well they’ll be rewarded with an early unlock of the Vinsmoke Brothers (Ichiji, Niji and Yonji) and two exclusive costumes that will be revealed at a later date. Bandai Namco have also unveiled the Kaido Edition for European fans, which includes the game and an exclusive LED diorama portraying the epic clash between Luffy and Kaido. To top it off, everyone is being treated to the following four iconic Wano costumes for free from launch day:

  • Luffytaro (Luffy)
  • Zorojuro (Zoro)
  • Soba Mask (Sanji)
  • Onami (Nami)

Due to the manga still being ongoing, One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 features a completely original ending and you can find the latest footage revealing a little bit more of the game’s story below. Do you think it’ll fare better than the offering of One Piece World Seeker from earlier this year? Don’t forget to leave us a comment with your thoughts regarding Luffy’s next adventure.
