Red Barrels delivered enough frights to welcome a new generation of horror with the release of Outlast back in 2013, now though they return as Outlast 2 has found its way to reinstate the true meaning of fear once more.
Outlast 2 puts you into the shoes of Blake Langermann, a cameraman working with his wife Lynn. Blake and Lynn are investigative journalists willing to take big risks and dig deep to uncover the chilling stories that others won’t dare touch.
Following on from a trail of clues that start with a grizzly and seemingly impossible murder of a pregnant woman, you are thrown into the middle of the Arizona desert, miles into the wilderness, as you are introduced to the worlds of Sullivan Knoth and his followers of evil – those who left our wicked world to give birth to the town of Temple Gate, in order to prepare for the tribulations of the end of time. You’re about to disturb those preparations.
With no weapons and no way to defend yourself, you will be forced to run and hide to ensure you stay alive. Can you make the most of the gloomy shadows or will you become just another body to sacrifice?
