Cococucumber are preparing to release Planet of the Eyes, a sci-fi atmospheric puzzle platformer, next month and it wants to send you on an immersive journey. Are you up for it?
Planet of the Eyes may have been around for a little while on PC, but now console gamers can get a look at it when it launches on 12th September. Best of all, the usual price of $9.99 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will be discounted by 20% on launch week. But what is it all about? Think Limbo meets a bright alien planet and you won’t be far off.
A finalist for “Best Indie Game” at the Canadian Videogame Awards, Planet of the Eyes wants to take players on an atmospheric journey as a lone robot through a number of handcrafted 2D side-scrolling levels. Players will be guided by audio logs left from another survivor, as they try to overcome the dangerous world and the mix of physics-based puzzles and platforming challenges it throws your way.
Planet of the Eyes should provide players with an immersive and dark narrative, which is accompanied by an enchanting score by critically-acclaimed sound designer John Black. There are only a couple of weeks left to wait before you can venture to the Planet of the Eyes, are you intrigued enough to get involved and see how many deaths you can cause for the robot?
