Prepare to Race The Sun on Xbox One

by Neil Watton (neil363)April 21, 2017

Are you looking for a game that will bring those high-score chasing memories flooding back? Race The Sun may just be the game for you.

Available right now on Xbox One, Race The Sun puts you in charge of a solar-powered flying machine as you race towards the sun in what is thought to be a futile race against time. With speed boosts slowing down the impossible, and reversing the setting of the sun, you’ll find a title that is high in tension and loaded with memories that come from a time when high-score chasing was king.

Racing the sun, staying in the light and not crashing are the most simplest of rules – so if you like what you’re reading, then make sure you hit up the Xbox Games Store right now. The £7.99 price tag seems more than tempting.

Game Description:

You are a solar-powered craft. The sun is your death timer. Hurtle towards the sunset at breakneck speed in a futile race against time. Delay the inevitable by catching speed boosts which reverse the setting sun – if only for a moment. Race The Sun is inspired by arcade games of the past with a focus on high scores, short game sessions, and pure fun mingled with nerve-wracking tension. The rules are simple: don’t crash, stay in the light, and don’t slow down!

About The Author
Neil Watton (neil363)
An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One. A massive racing fan, Forza 4 was the daddy of all Xbox titles but Forza Horizon 3 now trumps that. Online first person shooters are my hell....probably because my reactions are so poor, but give me a little Indie title and I'll be in heaven. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
