Project CARS 2 shifts into gear and is available now for Xbox One, PS4 and PC

-

The sequel to 2015’s racing simulator is available to download and buy now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC – and this time it comes promising more tracks, cars and events.

Announced almost immediately after the release of the first Project CARS, the second instalment delivers the same hardcore simulation that petrolheads have been wanting, but aims to improve on almost every aspect of the original.

This means more cars from more manufacturers, now including Porsche, Honda, Ferrari and Lamborghini to name just a few, the largest track roster currently available on consoles and a new weather system depending on what time of day and year you are racing.

But fear not, as all the other modes are still present, but now they have just been tweaked. Particularly the online mode. In an attempt to focus more on E-sports, online mode now includes a ranking system and championships allowing you to compare and contrast yourself against your friends and the rest of the world.

The game comes in two editions:

The standard edition, priced at £49.99 which includes the Japanese Car Bonus Pack, that contains 4 cars from Honda and Nissan if you’ve pre-ordered the game.

The deluxe edition, priced at £74.99 also includes the Japanese Car Pack, the Motorsports Pack containing cars from Jaguar, Panoz, Audi and Vauxhall/Opel, and the Season Pass.

Drivers: take your pick, start your engines and Go, Go, Go!
