The team over at MercurySteam have begun a brand new series of videos to offer players an insight into how to get the best out of their Raider of choice in Raiders of the Broken Planet – a new 4v1 take on the shooter genre. Fan favourite Alicia is the focal point for the first instalment of the series.
For this debut video of the #DevShouts series, one of the Raiders of the Broken Planet Game Designers delves into the tactical aspects of playing as Alicia and shares his preferred build when using her. But who is Alicia? Well, the fans of the game voted her as their favourite character during the beta – feel free to read our thoughts on the beta – and it’s easy to figure out why. She’s a full on assault character; carrying repeater shotguns which go very nicely with her superhuman agility and high speed. Alicia may be a bit of a ‘complicated’ person, but there’s no doubt she’s one of the most iconic characters in the game.
Raiders of the Broken Planet – Prologue will be completely free and sets the scene for the adventures to come on 22nd September for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The Prologue contains a wealth of content, including two lengthy missions across four stages, multiple characters to play with and full “no holds” barred access to both the single player and online multiplayer game modes. Should you wish to add more content though – new characters, new missions and a stand-alone story – the first campaign, titled Alien Myths, launches at the same time with a price tag of £9.99!
