pix the cat 1

Warm up those thumbs as Pastagames have today confirmed the release date of Pix the Cat – whilst dropping a brand new trailer showcasing the multiplayer aspect.

Arriving on Feb 8th 2017, Pix the Cat is an old-school arcade title that promises to bring the purr-fect arcade experience to all Xbox One owners. This new edition of Pastagames’ arcade hit comes with 7 exclusive arenas for the local multiplayer mode, all of which are only available on Xbox One! You can check out these new arenas in the multiplayer trailer below.

It’ll come with three game modes as follows:

  • NOSTALGIA MODE – Become the hero of a classic black and white cartoon and use your environment to resolve stages in a couple or seconds, manage a huge duckling tail without crashing, control several Pix at once… And more!
  • LABORATORY MODE – Plan every move without a time limit and collect ALL the friendly cells before dropping them to win. 100 experiments await you but be careful, don’t freeze your brain!
  • ARENA MODE – Destroy your opponents in epic local showdowns with deadly rockets, mines and a mighty dash to become the “last cat standing”!

If you have interest, and you really should, then Pix the Cat will cost you €9.99 / $9.99 / £7.99 when it releases on 8th Feb. We’ll be sure to remind you when that time comes.

About Pix the Cat

Hidden child of Pac-Man and Snake, Pix the Cat is an addictive arcade game which transposes the classic old-school sensation into a colourful and vivid world. Get ready for an intense arcade experience where your reflexes and your precision will be your only weapons to reach the leaderboard! Save as many ducklings as possible by leading them to safe areas in a frantic race against the clock. The ducklings will follow you in a single line, and breaking your “tail” or touching an enemy will make you lose all your ducklings… And combo!
