Prepare to wreck and ride in little over a month as Tate Multimedia have revealed the official release date for the upcoming motorbike combat racer, Steel Rats.
The 2.5D action-arcade genre is about to evolve when the visually stylised retro-future world of Steel Rats arrives on 7th November for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. It’s going to fuse death-defying stunts with high octane and destructive motorbike combat, allowing you to switch between four unique and upgradeable characters as you attempt to defend Coastal City from a junk robot invasion. You’ll be gearing up to traverse the environments at high speed, venturing across rooftops and through enemy-infested tunnels, wreaking havoc along the way.
It won’t be long until your initiation into the fearless Steel Rats biker gang gets underway, so grab your best leather jacket and rev those engines as you await the launch on 7th November. If you’re a PlayStation gamer then it’s your lucky day because pre-ordering the game will get you the Steel Rats Deluxe Edition at a discounted price of £15.99 which, as well as the game itself, includes a PlayStation theme, five avatars and the game’s soundtrack. PS Plus members also get an extra 15% discount when pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition of the Steel Rats, just to make us Xbox players even more gutted.
