It must be said that details are still rather thin on the ground, but when Darril Arts, Storming Games and Modus team up to confirm a release of Remothered: Going Porcelain you really do need to sit up and listen.

Following up on the success of Remothered: Tormented Fathers, the second chapter in the psychological horror series that is directed and set in Italy, will see Remothered: Going Porcelain hitting Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC in 2020.

This news releases just as the team and game are honoured in the eighth annual Italian Video Game Awards ceremony in Rome, seeing Remothered: Tormented Fathers named as Best Italian Video Game of 2018. The game, which also won Eurogamer’s 2018 Best Indie Game award, is a third-person action-adventure weaving classic horror, mystery and survival elements together for an unforgettable and haunting experience.

“We’re very excited to be bringing Remothered: Going Porcelain to fans of the genre,” said Christina Seelye, CEO of Modus Games. “The first game captured the attention of horror fans, and the second will have them anxiously awaiting the third!”

“I am immensely proud of the success gained by Remothered: Tormented Fathers and even more proud about the collaboration that will give life to the second title of the trilogy,” said Chris Darril, Creative Director of Darril Arts and Remothered. “Get ready for something new, something mad, something to be scared of and to cry for at the same time. Get ready to enter a tragic love story.”

“It’s an incredible honour to receive recognition amongst Italian developers as being the best in horror and indie today,” said Antonio Cannata, CEO of Stormind Games. “We can’t wait to surprise and terrify people all over again in Remothered: Going Porcelain.”

More information on Remothered: Going Porcelain will be available at a later date, but should you have not yet checked out Tormented Fathers, then our review of the game on Xbox One should be taken in.
