The remastered original Resident Evil will be making its release in early 2015 and today Capcom have released the first gameplay trailer showing the new updated and enhanced visuals.

With new 3D model technology, game resolutions and textures have been upgraded, resulting in characters and backgrounds coming to life in greater detail than ever seen before and you can see all this in action below as the trailer shows some of the iconic memories that were made when we first met Chris and Jill in the original 90’s horror story.

Whilst you can see that the classic control scheme is still in place, players will now be able to play with an alternative, more modern play style as well as taking in either the classis 4:3 screen ratio or a new stunning 16:9 widescreen mode.

The masterpeice that is Resident Evil will be making its Xbox One and Xbox 360 bow in early 2015.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
