Rise From the Ashes with the first DLC pack for Kingdom Come: Deliverance

-

One of the most hotly anticipated early 2018 titles was that of Kingdom Come: Deliverance as the promise of being thrust into a raging civil war – all whilst in the shoes of the son of a humble blacksmith – proved a huge draw to gamers. It may not have hit the heights that many wished to see, but that doesn’t mean Kingdom Come: Deliverance is being left to die a slow death. Instead we see an entirely new type of adventure begin to unfold as From The Ashes arrives.

From The Ashes is the very first piece of DLC for Deliverance and it gives us the chance to do something a little different, tasking us with building an entirely new village from the ground up.

Giving free reign over what to build, it’ll be up to you to decide exactly which buildings need creating, and what skills need to be harnessed within the community. With each settlement unique, coming with its own upgrades, material and labour requirements, it won’t be an easy task. But hey, when you’ve already taken in the massive open world that initially dropped within Deliverance, anything more should really be a piece of cake.

But building buildings isn’t the only thing you’ll find is new in From the Ashes and it also brings new horses that you can take for a ride, new tavern games to enjoy and a whole new combat arena allowing you to ensure your fighting skills are still up to scratch.

From The Ashes – Features

·Manage a village and control the finances. Plan accordingly and take care of your reputation.
·Upgrade your Buildings and get unique items helping you on your journey through Bohemia
·Hire special NPC’s and upgrade your production with well-known characters from the game
·Mediate disputes: Your choices will influence the wellbeing of your citizens and budget

The Xbox Store will happily deliver you all this for just £7.99. You’ll obviously need the base game to hand first – have a read of our review if you wish to know more about that – but should you need a new Kingdom Come: Deliverance fix, then this should most definitely be considered. You should also be able to find the DLC available on PS4.

DLC Description:

The first DLC for Kingdom Come: Deliverance introduces an entirely new type of adventure! You have an opportunity to participate in building a new village from the ground up and experience first-hand what it was like to create a new settlement. As a newly appointed bailiff, you must decide what buildings to erect and what people to bring in, and you must also settle disputes between the villagers. Each building is unique and comes with its own upgrades, material and labour requirements, so you will face some difficult decisions. A bailiff’s lot is not an easy one, but he can still enjoy some fun after a hard day’s work. Get yourself one of the new horses available and take it for a ride, throw a few dice against seasoned players in your new local tavern, match your skills against variously skilled opponents in your combat arena or just rest at home in your own comfortably furnished house.
