Rocksmith gets a blast of ’80s hard rock thanks to Night Ranger

They may be best known for their hard rock, but Night Ranger can also do the ballads, and even if you aren’t old enough to remember them the first time around, it is with the arrival of the Night Ranger Song Pack for Rocksmith which allows the band to meet a whole new audience.

Available from today for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 guitar fans to enjoy is the latest DLC pack for Rocksmith – that of the Night Ranger Song Pack.

A triple pack of tunes coming straight from the 1980s, the Night Ranger Song Pack will ensure that both fans of the band, and those who just like a good old sing-song, are well catered for, with the following tunes all available…

  • Sister Christian
  • (You Can Still) Rock in America
  • Don’t Tell Me You Love Me

Now, to us the inclusion of Sister Christian is a good one, allowing for a brilliant ballad to be learnt and mastered by guitarists the world over, sitting nicely alongside the other two hard rock anthems available. With the whole Night Ranger Song Pack coming in at £6.39, and each individual tune setting any interested buyer back by just £2.39, there really is little reason to not fully embrace the latest Rocksmith song pack.

As always, no matter whether you are jamming away on Xbox One or Xbox 360, or plucking those strings on PS3 or PS4, the latest track additions to Rocksmith more than delivers the goods. Get on over to a digital store near you right now – the Xbox Store or PlayStation Store, obviously – and get your purchase of the Night Ranger Song Pack in.

If you fancy something a little different, then it is well worth checking over all the previous song packs that have hit Rocksmith 2014 Edition and Rocksmith Remastered… there are a ton of them and more than likely something for everyone. An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
