If you’ve been following the 8-Bit adventures of Petroglyph over recent months, then you’ll have already noticed the launch of 8-Bit Armies and 8-Bit Hordes. Well, very soon the third games in the 8-Bit RTS series will be here, with the release date of the upcoming 8-Bit Invaders! now confirmed.

Arriving on Xbox One and PS4 on the 26th February 2019 will be 8-Bit Invaders! – the next game in Petroglyphs’s 8-Bit series of games.

Bright, full of fun and focusing on the sci-fi world, we’ll see 8-Bit Invaders! launch on Xbox One and PS4 in both digital and physical forms come February, bringing with it the chance for players to invade the multiverse.

This will see us tasked with base building opportunities, as we attempt to raise a colossal army of sci-fi units including the likes of “Floating Brains”, “Blast Bugs” and “Xenodogs”, to help us conquer all enemies. With two different factions in place, the requirements to sow death and destruction with the savage Cranioids and the brave warriors of the Galactic Marine Corps will see the world of 8-Bit Invaders quickly turn into a turbulent battleground of fast-paced and colorful RTS action.

We’ll be sure to remind you when the time comes to get involved in a bit of 8-Bit Invaders! action, but in the meantime you could probably get much satisfaction from spending some time with the previous games in the series. Our full review of 8-Bit Hordes is fast approaching, whilst our thoughts surrounding that of 8-Bit Armies are already live.

Be sure to check them out, or hit up the trailer below for a quick glimpse of what is to come in 8-Bit Invaders!. Leaving us your thoughts and comments in the section down below, or via the usual social media channels would be great too!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
