Season 3 Week 5 brings two new cars to DiRT Rally 2.0

DiRT Rally 2.0 has been nicely expanding ever since launch with Codemasters providing access to a ton of new tracks, rallys, cars and liveries. With Season 1 and 2 both well in the past though, it’s time for Season 3 of the content drops to crack on, with Week 5 providing access to two new super iconic cars.

Available to purchase and download into DiRT Rally 2.0 right this very minute are the Seat Ibiza Kitcar and Peugeot 306 Maxi. Priced up at £1.19 each, these latest car additions see the vehicle roster in DiRT Rally 2.0 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC increase once more, with the game yet again delivering opportunities for racers to get involved.

The Seat Ibiza Kitcar comes straight out of the F2 class, and back in the mid-late 1990s was one of the most successful cars of its type. Taking home the Rally Cup for three years in a row from 96-98, the lightweight nature and 2 litre engine ensured that this kitcar was the go-to racer for anyone wishing to be successful.

Alongside the Seat we have France’s favourite, with the Peugeot 306 Maxi dropping into the game. A FWD monster from back in 1995, the 306 Maxi provides no less than 280hp to the front wheels, and this means that torque steer is something you’ll have to get under control, as you wrestle with the wheel of the French rally option which is still an ever present in the modern day rally scene.

These cars follow on from the arrival of the Greece rally from a couple of weeks back and work as a decent little build-up to the next set of DiRT Rally 2.0 content which will come in the form of the Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi in a couple of weeks time.

Should you wish to see the Seat or Peugeot placed in your game then you’ll just need to head to the usual digital stores. The links above will sort you out with the downloads for us Xbox One gamers, whilst those on PS4 and PC will have to take a trip to their own little stores.

If you are after a different type of content for DiRT Rally 2.0 then you can find all manner of DLC bits and bobs already available. Let us know what you decide to pick up.
