Love em or loathe em, season passes are here to stay. With the arrival of LEGO DC Super-Villains just a couple of months away, Warner Bros are back to deliver news of the rather exciting additions that will be included in the Season Pass for the game.
Promising to provide players with some hotly anticipated new game content, the Season Pass for LEGO DC Super-Villains has been inspired by a wide range of DC movies, live action and animated TV shows and comics.
Featuring no less than 6 Level Packs and 4 Character packs, anyone down with a bit of DC will no doubt be unable to resist the lure of the likes of Aquaman, Supergirl, The Flash and more.
With the upcoming Aquaman film due to hit in December, and then Shazam! arriving in April 2019, it’s no surprise to see two Aquaman Movie Level Packs and a couple of Shazam! Movie Level Packs included.
These will be complemented by the DC Super Heroes TV Series Character Pack and DC Super-Villains TV Series Character Pack which will add favourites from Warner Bros. Television, including DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Black Lightning TV series. Additional packs include the DC Films Character Pack, plus Batman: The Animated Series Level Pack and Young Justice Level Pack inspired by the Warner Bros. Animation series.
The Season Pass will be available as a standalone purchase for £11.99, or as part of the LEGO DC Super-Villains Deluxe Edition which features the main game and immediate access to the DC Super Villains: TV Series Character Pack. An exclusive LEGO minifigure, Lex Luthor Superman, also comes with the physical version of the Deluxe Edition, while those preferring digital will receive the Justice League Dark Character Pack, inspired by the comic book series Justice League Dark. The Deluxe Edition is now available for pre-order exclusively at GAME in the UK and at GameStop in Ireland for £59.99.
If you like a bit of LEGO or just love DC, then LEGO DC Super-Villains will be the game for you. The first LEGO game to put players at the center of a villain-centric adventure giving them the ability to create and play as their own DC Super-Villain throughout the game, it will allow their character to becomes the centre of the story, all while seeing them team up with an iconic variety of villains. The usual hilarious and original LEGO story will no doubt also be included when LEGO DC Super-Villains becomes available on Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC from 19th October 2019.
