megaquarium xbox one 2

Arriving on the Xbox Store for Xbox One, and also on PS4 and Switch, Megaquarium offers a watery spin on the management tycoon game, allowing players to build the aquarium of their dreams.

Featuring a ten-level campaign with a wide variety of scenarios and a fully customisable sandbox, Megaquarium also allows you to play the way you want. Rise from a complete novice to be the most sought-after aquarium designer.

Available right now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, the sandbox of Megaquarium features lots of replayability as you can customise the starting point down to the minutiae. And if that isn’t enough, there is always the random challenge generator to keep you on your toes!

The world is your oyster in Megaquarium, quite literally, with nearly a hundred different species of aquatic life to choose from in tanks that come in all manner of shapes and sizes. And to back those up are over 100 different objects to help keep the tanks running at the optimal temperature and clarity, keep customers happy with food and drink or maybe just decorate your aquarium; there is something in this lot to please even the most difficult of guests.

Of course, some aquariums are simply too big for a one-person job, so thankfully you can employ staff to help you. They can feed the fish, clean up after messy guests or just be around to hand out a balloon or two. Each staff member can level up and be assigned skill points based on what you need. You can even fire those that aren’t pulling their weight!

Megaquarium on the Xbox One is ready to download right now from the Xbox Store, priced at £19.99 – with an initial launch discount dropping that down to £17.99 – and offers an old-school sim management game that is well worth a look according to our review. Will this help bring back memories of building all those theme parks when you were a child, let us know in the comments below!

Game Description:

A theme park management tycoon game with an aquatic twist. Design your displays, look after your fish, manage your staff and keep your guests happy! It’s all in a day’s work as the curator of your very own Megaquarium.
