There’s a Super Hero in all of us – it just takes a little bit of magic to bring it out. And with the addition of the Shazam! Movie DLC in LEGO DC Super-Villains, that magic is here!
If you wish to try and channel your inner hero, are ready to master the powers of Shazam and are up for taking the fight to the evil forces of Dr. Sivana, then you are now in luck. See, the LEGO DC Super-Villains SHAZAM! Movie DLC is now in place for all Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC players to enjoy.
Coming as part of the LEGO DC Super-Villains Season Pass, this latest content drop adds a new level and DC characters inspired by the magical Warner Bros. Pictures film, SHAZAM! – you know, the one that is in cinemas nationwide right now.
Only available to those Season Pass holders, the SHAZAM! Movie Level Pack 1 is available right now, whilst the SHAZAM! Movie Level Pack 2, which also adds another new level and characters, will become available on 23rd April, 2019.
The Season Pass itself adds six level packs and four character packs, is included in the LEGO DC Super-Villains Deluxe Edition or can be purchased separately for £11.99. If you don’t have the Season Pass in place though, but still wish to see some Shazam! magic, then you’ll need to wait until the 23rd April, whereby it’ll magically appear for £4.99.
If you don’t know about Shazam, then well, where have you been these last few weeks? It’s all about Billy Batson, and by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam, courtesy of an ancient wizard. In the movie, Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child, but he’ll need to master these powers quickly to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.
The first SHAZAM! Movie Level Pack for LEGO DC Super-Villains offers players the chance to master the powers of favourite characters based on the film. You will find yourself jumping into the action and taking on a journey as Billy Batson and Freddy Freeman, fighting against the evil Dr. Sivana! The pack includes the ability for Billy Batson to transform into Super Hero Shazam, using his powerful abilities of flight, strength, projectiles, electric beam and more. Players can also see Freddy transform and take on Shazam powers, and unlock the four characters embodying the sins of man including Gluttony, Wrath, Pride, and Envy.
