Way back in October of 2018, the latest chapter in the SOULCALIBUR series arrived, bringing with it fighting opportunities like no other. Since that time those dipping their toes into the heat of the battle have experienced all manner of content additions, with the first Season Pass delivering the goods. Now though, as the last character from that Pass arrives, Bandai Namco have revealed Season Pass 2 – and it promises to be just as exciting.
First up and we just have to talk about the latest addition to the SOULCALIBUR roster, as the shield-wielding Cassandra pops up for action. First debuting back in SOULCALIBUR II, Cassandra brings her Athenian fighting style to the stage of SOULCALIBUR VI as the last character of the Season Pass 1.
It is Cassandra who will be more than happy to take down opponents with her dynamic shield attacks, along with the ultra-powerful Full Force technique. To make the most of these attacks, a whole new story comes into play as well, with Soul Chronicle focusing efforts on what makes Cassandra tick.
The fourth new playable character to hit SOULCALIBUR VI, Cassandra follows in the footsteps of Tira from DLC 1, NieR:Automata’s 2B from DLC 2 and Amy from DLC 4, with a couple of Character Creation Sets filling in the obviously gaps.Â
But that’s not the only SOULCALIBUR news to come out of Bandai and additionally, SOULCALIBUR VI’s Season Pass 2 was announced, which will contain four more fighters including the guest-character Haohmaru from SNK’s Samurai Shodown. Further to that, four more Creation Sets will allow never seen before customisation chances.
