Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption gets an Xbox One, PS4 and PC release date

-

Dark Star Studios and their publisher, Another Indie, have today announced the release date for their upcoming boss battler – Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption. 2018 is looking like it’s going to be a great year for gaming!

Due to arrive on Xbox One, PS4 and PC come April 25th 2018, Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption, has been created by a team of AAA veterans including a former Ubisoft art director, Konami senior programmer and a Blizzard technical artist. If they don’t know what it takes to make a decent video game, then who will?

Sinner sees you taking control of Adam, a soldier with a dark past who is on a quest for redemption. You’ll be found challenging the monstrous embodiments of the seven deadly sins as he attempts to atone for his misdeeds. But before each trial Adam must sacrifice a part of himself, resulting in a permanent debuff for the rest of his encounters.

Each battle will therefore be more difficult than the last as each and every debuff lowers Adam’s health, depletes his resources or weakens his weapons and armor. Fortunately, and rather thankfully, an arsenal of unlockable equipment will help you and Adam compensate for his increasing weaknesses.

“Sinner will test players’ skill in battle, giving them plenty of options to find a playstyle that works for them even as Adam grows weaker,” says Iain Garner, Director of Developer Relations at Another Indie. “The feeling of defeating each boss and receiving more of the deep narrative is both rewarding and riveting.”

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption will also come in multiple languages with English, Spanish, German, Japanese, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese options available. It’ll set you back just $18.99.

We will of course remind you when the time comes, but for now the trailer below should help.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
