You may have heard of Spintires. After all it is a million selling indie hit over on the PC, one that delivers great off-roading in all-terrain vehicles. Well, there’s some good news on the horizon – for the ultimate version, Spintires: MudRunner is coming to PC and the very best consoles.
Focus Home Interactive and Saber Interactive have today revealed that Spintires: MudRunner will be coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC in October 2017. To celebrate the reveal, they’ve also kindly dropped a trailer!
Spintires: MudRunner will put you in the driver’s seat as you take charge of incredible all-terrain vehicles, venturing across extreme Siberian landscapes. The problem is, you’ll only have a map and compass as guides!
Promised to be a huge upgrade over its predecessor, this MudRunner will come complete with a brand new Sandbox Map joining the original game’s five environments as one, a total graphical overhaul (obviously), a new Challenge mode with nine dedicated maps, no less than 13 new vehicles and many other enhancements.
If you’re looking for the ultimate off-road simulation experience, then Spintires: MudRunner promises to bring it.
Each of the powerful all-terrain vehicles, will come with its own characteristics and attachable equipment, whilst your objectives and deliveries will see you having to endure perilous conditions across wild, untamed landscapes in extreme conditions with dynamic day-night cycles. Overcome muddy terrain, raging rivers and other obstacles that all realistically react to the weight and movement of your vehicle powered by the game’s advanced physics engine.
Like mentioned, you’ll only have a map, compass, winch, and your driving skills as allies, so whether you go solo or join up to three others in the coop multiplayer, you’ll need to keep aware at all times.
Spintires: MudRunner will come to Xbox One, PS4 and PC in October. Make sure you check out the reveal trailer below.
I’m looking forward to this game, strangely I wouldn’t expect that an off-road simulator would caught my attention.
This looks immense… I’ve done a fair bit of off-roading in real life (terrific fun but an expensive hobby) but I’ve never seen a game that offers an off-roading experience you can enjoy from the comfort of your sofa before. Of course trailers can be very deceiving for a title like this so I look forward to your review!
