Yooka-Laylee. Remember those words because it won’t be long before you’re hearing it every second of every day, for the guys behind Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong Country are back!

After working on the idea for three months, the guys at Playtonic Games have gone full steam ahead with a Kickstarter campaign for Yooka-Laylee. Whilst the game will be created and published without the need for additional funding, the stretch goals in place will ensure that it becomes bigger, better and more joyful than ever before.

With a release on Xbox One, PS4, Wii U and PC all promised (and if enough funding is found then this will be a simultaneous release), gamers of all ages should be flocking to support what could well be a new defining moment in the platforming genre.

Odds are that Yooka-Laylee is going to be a massive success and you can be part of it. Jump over to the Kickstarter campaign now and help Playtonic Games reach a cool £1 million in funding.

C’mon, together we can do it!

About The Author
Neil Watton (neil363)

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360’s life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One. A massive racing fan, Forza 4 was the daddy of all Xbox titles but Forza Horizon 3 now trumps that. Online first person shooters are my hell….probably because my reactions are so poor, but give me a little Indie title and I’ll be in heaven.
