The original launch of Steel Rats on Xbox One was first promised back in 2018, but as the weeks and months passed, all hope of the motorcycle mayhem hitting Xbox One went with it. Now though that hope is back – and Steel Rats has launched on Xbox One and Discord.
Previously having dropped on PS4 and PC, we now find Steel Rats promising a visceral and groundbreaking evolution of the 2.5D action-arcade genre on Xbox One and Discord.
Priced up at £12.49, Steel Rats fuses destructive, octane-fuelled, motorbike combat and death-defying stunt gameplay, with the action set in a visually stylised, retro-future world. It is here where you’ll get the chance to switch between four unique and upgradeable characters as you wreak havoc and defend your city from an invading armada of junk robots.
Steel Rats can also be purchased from the PlayStation Store either in standard or deluxe varieties, with the latter including the main game, a PlayStation4 theme, the soundtrack and five PlayStation avatars. The soundtrack can also be purchased separately. Furthermore, you’ll find Steel Rats on both Steam and GOG.com.
It is the Xbox One version we are most interested in though and if you wish to give this motorcycle combat experience a shot then the Xbox Store will sort you out with a download.
