Take in some episodic sci-fi storytelling as Elea prepares for launch this summer

-

Promising a sensational sci-fi story telling adventure, Elea is not just gearing up for an April Early Access release, but SOEDESCO have confirmed publishing rights for the game that will release in full this summer.

Created by the Bulgarian developers at Kyodai, Elea is an episodic sci-fi storyteller that will be hitting Steam Early Access come April 24th 2018. That will then be followed up by a full release on PC and Xbox One this summer.

Available at a discounted rate during its Early Access phase, Elea has been promised to release some ‘two to three months later’ on Steam and Xbox One. And it is then in which us XO players will start to get excited – especially considering the promise of gorgeous space environments powered by Unreal Engine 4, and a touching story that has been inspired by the very best sci-fi writers.

A first person sci-fi adventure about the personal journey of Elea, a space scientist on a mission to find her husband Ethan, this is a game that whisks us off to the year 2073, just as earth was struck by a horrid childhood mutation disease that affected Elea’s youngest son. Ethan left on the interstellar spaceship Pilgrimage in order to colonize an earth-like exoplanet and save humanity from extinction. When Pilgrimage reached the planet, the vessel went radio silent. Thirteen years later, Elea ventures out on research starship RSS Recovery to find out what happened to Ethan. Along her journey, she encounters phenomena beyond human grasp.

Features include:

  • Unravel a rich, touching story inspired by books of classic sci-fi writers
  • Submerge yourself in amazing graphics powered by Unreal Engine 4
  • Discover gorgeous space environments, spectacular vistas and detailed interiors
  • Expect the unexpected on this curious journey through outer space

If you’re on PC and wish to give Elea an Early Access shot, then April 24th should be a date to note in your diary. If not, then hey, at least there is something to look forward to this summer!
