The film is currently wowing the big-screen crowds, allowing the world another chance to drop into the life of Emmet and his friends, but to go alongside that, there is of course the videogame version of The LEGO Movie 2. And it’s available right now on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Releasing to accompany The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part film, The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame has been inspired by the events that are found unfolding throughout. Hitting Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC, this will see alien invaders leaving Bricksburg in utter ruins, with the call for Emmet, Lucy and a host of heroic characters to go beyond their world and save their friends from the strange inhabitants of the Systar System.
As you may expect, plenty of brick building and brick smashing fun is due to be had with The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame as you head through outer space, spend time witnessing the wonders of strange new worlds, and get the chance to put your Master Building skills to the ultimate test.
Whilst there are all manner of LEGO titles already available throughout the gaming world – The LEGO Movie Videogame, LEGO Jurassic World and the numerous LEGO Star Wars, Marvel and DC offerings spring to mind – there is nothing better than being able to sit down with a game that has been fully inspired by the film you’ve just taken in.
That is the case here and now. Should you have already spent time at the cinema watching The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part play out, and now which to do so again but with your own take on things, then a purchase and download of The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame is a bit of a no-brainer.
The usual digital stores will allow you access and if you are a PS4, Switch or PC player than you’ll know exactly what to do. Us Xbox One gamers however should be found visiting the Xbox Store immediately, with a purchase of The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame setting us back $39.99, at least if you’re in the North American region. For us UK folk, we’ll need to hold tight until Friday 26th March in order to discover the magic behind the latest LEGO title, from which a £39.99 purchase will see us right.
