“Monitor your health and sleep regularly”…. the most boring thing ever in a game.
Don’t get me wrong, it is not the fact you have to remember to eat and sleep that bores me but the fact that they speed up time (day/night cycles) so that you end up having to spend 50% of your time eating and sleeping or thinking about it.
Personally I would prefer a normal day/night cycle (why rush it, make the players play longer to see the day/night) and the sleep/eat things would only be a small thing instead of overwhelming the gameplay. I am pretty sure in any survival situation once you have killed something and eaten it, you don’t need to desperately feed or die within 20 mins of the meal. Once you eat a meal of substance, you should not have to worry about feeding for at least 6 hours worth of gameplay time, that way its always there, and on the list of things to do, but you can play a LOT of other tasks in the meantime.
