thehunter call of the wild weapon pack 3

No matter what you think of the hunt, one of the very best video game replications is that of the brilliant theHunter: Call of the Wild. And now, as we roll up to the second anniversary of its release, yet another DLC pack has dropped for the game – one that provides plenty of sweet new weaponry.

First released back in October 2017, and then repackaged with a 2019 Edition a year later, theHunter: Call of the Wild has now received yet another weapon pack, with the Weapon Pack 3 coming up for purchase. Priced up at just £2.79, you can probably guess by the price point that this isn’t going to be a massive game changer, but what it does do is make your hunting job that little bit easier with the addition of some lovely new weapons.

The latest shipment to hit the hunt sees the likes of the Eckers .30-06 Bolt-Action Rifle, the Vasquez Cyclone .45 Big Bore Air Rifle, and the Andersson .22LR Semi-automatic Pistol all ready for action, with options available to ensure that taking down boar, coyotes, deer and more becomes just that little bit easier.

Multiple colour variations – ie, skins – are also in place, letting you customise your latest bit of kit to your own personal taste.

Following on from March’s drop of Weapon Pack 2, and that of the first new Weapons Pack near on 18 months ago, anyone serious about their hunting exploits will no doubt find that these latest guns will go down very nicely indeed.

To get hold of them you just need to visit your favoured digital store, with the Xbox Store as always providing the goods for us Xbox One gamers. The base game will need to be in hand, but we reckon that if you’re reading this piece and have interest in taking down some game, then that is pretty much a gimme already.

Once you do grab theHunter: Call of the Wild – Weapon Pack 3, let us know what you think of the new gear it brings by posting in the comments below.
