It’s time to step up a gear as Pressure Overdrive hits Xbox One

-

Forget about your fast Forza experiences and put the madness of Micro Machines to the back of your mind. There’s a new racer in town and this one puts you firmly behind the wheel of a steambuggy!

Available right now on Xbox One, Pressure Overdrive will set you back £10.39, as you get behind the wheel of a steambuggy in an attempt to stop Count Soap from pinching all the water. It’ll be up to you to blast, ram and race your way past multiple enemies – and even more bullets -in the hope you can save the world.

Pressure Overdrive comes with both a Campaign mode and Freeplay option, whilst the Endless mode will keep you going forever more. With three worlds playing host to more than 30 levels, dozens of enemy types, a number of bosses and the opportunity to upgrade your steambuggy with plenty of cool items, if you were after something a little different, then Pressure Overdrive may well be it.

We advise hitting the Xbox Games Store right now, getting your download in and enjoying what is on offer… if only because the soundtrack promises to be a little funky!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
