Lara Croft is a perfect fit for Xbox One and it comes as no surprise to see a Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition announced for the next gen.
Released in North America on January 28 and then in Europe on January 31 2014, The Definitive Edition sees a full 1080p next gen Lara rebuilt from the ground up specifically for Xbox One.
Included in this edition will be:
The Tomb of the Lost Adventurer
Eight DLC multiplayer maps
Six DLC multiplayer weapons
Four DLC multiplayer characters
Six outfits for Lara
Dark Horse digital comic book “Tomb Raider: The Beginning”
Brady Games digital art book “Tomb Raider: The Art of Survival”
“The Final Hours of Tomb Raider” documentary series
And it wouldn’t be right if Kinect features weren’t also included and you’ll be glad to know that the Xbox One version will allow you to use Kinect to change weapons, attachments, and navigate the menu with your voice. You will also be able to rotate and inspect relics with hand gestures, and find new viewpoints by leaning into the world.
All sounds rather exciting and we can’t wait to experience the new improved Tomb Raider.
