Trove now available for free on Xbox One

-

We’ve seen a whole host of free-to-play games arrive on Xbox One over the last couple of weeks and months. Today, another has appeared – Trove!

Available to download right now for zero payment, Trove quite obviously comes with a multitude of paid add-ons. In fact, should you get taken in by the F2P voxel-based action MMO and want to advance your experience a little quicker, then you’ll probably find yourself looking to nab one of the many content add-ons. Depending on how deep you wish to get, you will then have the decision to make between the cheap and cheerful (£3.99 for 750 credits) or the downright expensive (£64.99 for 18500 in-game credits anyone?).

Obviously we advise that you grab the free download and spend a little time with Trove before settling on the cash option, but however you decide to roll, the Xbox Games Store will be able to sort you out.

If you do pick it up, don’t forget to let us know what you think of it by posting in the comments below.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
