Wish to prove yourself as the fastest bike rider once more? TT Isle of Man is back and today Bigben and KT Racing have released a new trailer detailing the technical improvements that will be in Ride on the Edge 2 when it is found hitting PC and console in 2020.

After first whisking us away to the world’s most famous motorcycle race in 2018 with TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge, the series will roar back with a sequel that promises a ton of technical improvements when it launches on console and PC in 2020. And when we say console, we’d certainly hazard a guess at saying Xbox One and PS4.

Bigben and KT Racing are upping the game with TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2, as we get the opportunity to compete in one of the world’s most famous races, experiencing an unprecedented motorcycle racing experience at home.

Whilst the original game was decent enough, the bike physics in Ride on the Edge 2 have been rebuilt from the ground up to create ultra-realistic behaviour. The gyroscopic effect is now completely integrated for more precise steering, and speed wobbles have been added to alert riders that a fall could be imminent. The brakes and shock absorbers have also been redesigned. They now respond to all bumps in the road and create a riding experience that is much more faithful to what a real motorcyclist feels.

But that’s not all and from the handlebars of your bike, shave valuable seconds off your time by using you opponent’s slipstream to pick up speed and find the best line in bends to maximise your bike’s grip. Managing wear and tear of parts is also part of the game experience: the brakes, suspensions, engine and tyre temperature all need to be monitored for the best ride and to reach the finish line of the 60km circuit, especially if you complete all six laps of the race!

We’ll be sure to bring you further updates as progress to TT Isle of Man 2 is made, and as soon as a confirmed release date is known, we’ll pass that info your way. For now though, kick back and take in the tech improvements trailer below.
