Unboxing and first look at the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition

-

So the game changer is here – the Xbox One X is a thing and the Project Scorpio Edition is in our hands. Fancy watching our unboxing?

Watch below as we unbox the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition, taking a look at the glorious contents within. We get to take a look at the box itself, before opening it up and taking out a couple of codes (Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold), the vertical stand, the Project Scorpio Edition wireless controller – and it’s batteries – before getting to the beast of the console we know and love.

The Xbox One X is a black slab of pure beauty. Coming in significantly smaller than the original Xbox, and a tad smaller than the Xbox One S, it’s a weighty old thing, but the power within it is what will sell it.

4K gaming, a 1TB hard drive and the use of all previous Xbox accessories should mean that Xbox One X is the ultimate console.

We’ll have a full review for you soon, but for now lets unbox and take a first look at the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition.

Don’t forget to give us a thumbs up and a subscribe!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.

Just realised (as yours is the only unboxing video I’ve watched – didn’t want to spoilt the surprise) that I never got that cardboard pack on the top with the quick start guide and the Gold/Game Pass stuff. Am I missing anything important? Was there a free trial or decent amount of Live membership in there?

It’s a 1 month trial for the game pass and 14 days Live. You can have my codes if you want them?

Cheers guys, just for a moment there I naively thought that they might have stuck 3 month Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass in there as a thank you for supporting them by paying full whack on day one with no bundled games. How silly of me LOL.

Thanks for the offer Chris but thinking about it I’ve already had a 1 month Game Pass trial so it probably wouldn’t let me have another now.

Yeah, you’ve not missed much. Good for those who aren’t already on the Xbox train, but for us long termers neither really appeal.
