Uncover the secrets of an alien planet in The Way on Xbox One

-

Ever wanted to try and uncover the secrets of an alien planet? You’ll find yourself doing just that in The Way.

Inspired by ‘90s cinematic platformers such as Another World, Flashback and Heart of Darkness, The Way tells the tale of a member of a space explorer team who has lost his beloved wife… leaving you to traipse across an alien world in search of the meaning of life itself.

But it won’t be simple, as this planet has some secrets and problems of its own that you may have to uncover and face on your quest.

With plenty of tricky puzzles to wrap your head around, and a rich sci-fi story to become immersed in – if you were a fan of Éric Chahi and his work on Another World a couple of decades ago, then The Way is looking like it may just bring you more of the same to enjoy.

If you fancy giving The Way a go, puzzle platforming your way across 10 hours of hand-drawn, retro looking scenes, then it is available on Xbox One, and therefore from the the Xbox Games Store, for £7.99.

Game Description:

I'm an avid gamer who will play pretty much anything... but stick an open world or adventure game in front of me and I'm more than happy.
