Victor Vran Overkill Edition release date confirmed. Motörhead add-on detailed.

-

It’s been created in collaboration with the legends that are Motörhead and today, Wired Productions and Haemimont Games have confirmed not just the release date for Victor Vran, but also detailed a couple of add-ons.

Arriving on Xbox One, PS4 and PC come 30th May 2017, Victor Vran Overkill Edition is totally loaded with awesome content.

Expect plenty of demon-hunting as Vran makes a console debut, encouraging players to venture forth into the isometric action RPG, forging their own personal version of Victor as they do so. A whole array of powerful weapons, game changing outfits and demon powers will be present as you take on waves of demons and bosses, either alone, alongside a local friend or across the online world as a team of four.

Two brand new adventures also await console players as the Fractured Worlds, and possibly more excitingly, the Motörhead: Through the Ages addition bring even more content to the game.

The latter is, as you would expect from something that has been worked on with the band, something which will take you on a wild tour through the mythos of the loudest band in the world. You’ll need to harness powers of the immortal Motörhead and defeat new enemies across three demon-infested worlds, all in the hope you can manage to bring the mighty Snaggletooth back to to life with the help of Lemmy and Lloyd Kaufman.

Phil Campbell, Motörhead said: “The game is a brilliant homage to the world of Motörhead, one where you can kick-ass, to a kick-ass soundtrack!”

Achim Heidelauf, Executive Producer and creator of Motörhead Through the Ages, Haemimont Games, had this to say: “In over 20 years of making video games this is my proudest moment. I cannot wait to show our unique creation to my fellow Motörheadbangers and the rest of the world! Motörhead forever!”

Jens Drinkwater, Licensing Manager from Global Merchandising Services, said: “We are extremely excited to see all of Haemimont Games’ hard work come to fruition, and know they have done an excellent job in marrying the Motörhead and Victor Vran worlds together. We hope the game will be a hit for both fans of the band and gaming enthusiasts alike, and is a great way to bring the legacy of the loudest band in Rock N Roll, Motörhead, to a wider audience.”

Features of the Motörhead: Through the Ages add-on include:

  • Rock out to fan-favorite tracks from Motörhead like they’ve never been heard before: activate Monuments of Rock to experience unwoven stems from the band’s original studio sessions, then defeat hammering waves of monsters to complete the song and earn exciting new treasures, weapons, and abilities
  • Explore three entirely new worlds inspired by Motörhead’s music, attitude and album covers
  • Unleash eight new Motörhead themed demon powers – smash foes with the Iron Fist, blast baddies with the Deaf Forever Amp, call in the Bomber, and more
  • Slay with style in three new outfits based on band members Lemmy, Phil and Mikkey
  • Dispatch demons with the new Revolver and Guitar weapon types
  • Collect 20 new Destiny Cards that augment any demon hunter’s destructive abilities
  • Take on new bosses including the Corrupted War Pig, Orgasmatron, and the Queen of the Damned
  • Follow an exciting and often shocking storyline about war, religion and greed
  • Starring world renowned actor, director and living legend Lloyd Kaufman

So, come May 30th you’ll be able to head off on a journey with Victor Vran, one that promises plenty of Overkill and even more Motorhead! With a price of £34.99 for either the digital or physical edition and then the add-ons coming in at £9.99, it promises to be a must have for fans of the band. Or fans of isometric action-RPG adventures.

Whichever of those you may be.
