We previously told you that a new mech fighter would soon be found assaulting the lands of Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Well, now that day is fast approaching, with confirmation of the full launch date of War Tech Fighters.
Coming from Drakker Dev and Blowfish Studios, War Tech Fighters will bring its sci-fi mech action goodies to the Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch table on June 27th 2019.
For it is that date which will see you given the opportunity to lead a talented squadron of rogue pilots set adrift in space, all after the ruthless Zatros empire conquered colonies of Hebos and Ares. Armed with giant fighting robots – War Techs – Captain Nathan Romanis and company will be found traversing the galaxy across more than 30 missions, all in order to liberate their people and exact vengeance on their evil oppressors once and for all.
These War Techs are highly customisable machines which come complete with three distinct body classes, pushing out more than 180 different upgradeable systems and part in the process. The Hawk is fast and light, the Rhino heavy and slow, whilst the flexible Lynx is the all-rounder that allows for a balanced approach. Each of this will however come equipped for both close combat and long-range engagements, and by utilising a variety of bullet, laser, and magnetic weapons, will be able to deal damage to Zatronian forces and their army of War Techs from a distance. Then, when the situation calls for it, getting up close and personal will see you pulling off brutal and stylish execution moves with the mechs’ devastating sword weapons.

Additionally, the console version of War Tech Fighters that will be releasing on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch exclusively features the powerful Archangel War Tech special set with the Glory Sword, Redemption Halberd, and Faith Shield. All of these will be available from the beginning of the game, but as style is a big deal in War Tech Fighters you will also be able to customize your War Tech with thousands of paint and livery options while scavenging parts hidden throughout the galaxy.
A price of $19.99 USD / €17.99 / £15.99 / $24.99 AUD will see you given access to War Tech Fighters from June 27th 2019, with downloads arriving via the magic of the Xbox Store, the PlayStation Store, and the Nintendo Switch eShop.
