Warface Battle Royale, new maps and more detailed and dated for Xbox One. Out now on PS4.

-

Fast paced shooting, competitive and cooperative action, a multitude of game modes and a ton of weapons. It can only be Warface and today a brand new Battle Royale mode, new maps, Raid and more are delivered to PS4. But most excitingly, the Xbox One update that brings the exact same features is just around the corner.

In fact, the Black Shark update which has today hit the lives of PS4 players, will be coming to Xbox One on October 30th 2018, allowing those who have locked horns on the Warface battleground the chance to further their enjoyment of the game.

The first in a series of free monthly updates, Black Shark includes all-new maps, the co-op raid “Black Shark” and the long-awaited Battle Royale game mode. Set in the Mojave Desert, the “every player for himself” royale format in Warface is a much more visceral experience, with less time spent looting and more time spent shooting. Soldiers who wish to partake in the action can look forward to hundreds of distinctive weapons and pieces of original equipment resulting in fast-paced, dynamic matches.

Black Shark also delivers one of the most atmospheric cooperative raids to date, seeing players meet up with unique enemies that Blackwood has posed against the Warface squads so far. Up to five will find themselves infiltrating and setting up explosive charges on the floors of an under-development skyscraper that Blackwood has an unusually high interest in constructing. This latest raid will task squads with blasting through numerous sections of the unfinished tower, while hacking the enemy network and retrieve crucial data to deal a decisive blow!

Further to all this, the update also kicks off Warface’s Halloween festivities event (you know, just like EVERY other game!), and introduces several maps for the Team Death Match, Plant the Bomb and Storm game modes.

If you’re playing Warface on PS4, then you can grab the update right now. Those on Xbox One (yep, that’s us) will have to wait until October 30th. In the meantime, we can get a taste of the action in the trailer below.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
