Down with the Warriors Orochi series? Fancy getting yourself involved with a thrilling new entry? Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate is coming – and it’ll be hitting Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC in the early stages of 2020.
Announced today by KOEI TECMO America and Omega Force, Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate is the next instalment popular 1 vs. 1,000 hack-and-slash series, and it’ll be making waves on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam come February 2020. And no matter whether you are already invested in Warriors Orochi 4, or coming in green, you will be well catered for as the new game will be available as both a standalone title for those who haven’t yet experienced Warriors Orochi 4, or as a special Upgrade Pack for those who already own the previous game.
Providing new characters, brand new storylines and a new ‘True Ending’, Warriors Orochi 4 will see you able to join an all-star cast and take time to strike down the enemy swarms by the thousand when it launches on console and PC. Featuring characters from Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, and the gods of ancient history, expect to be thrust into an all-out fight against swarms of enemies, seeking answers to why all have been reunited to battle in this mysterious new world.
You’ll find both all-star characters and fan favourites from past KOEI TECMO games, like Joan of Arc, as the Ultimate roster boosts the playable characters to 177, with one of the most significant being that of the Mother Earth goddess, Gaia, who created numerous lands at the beginning of time and now looks to unite our heroes in an effort to help save the world.
But in addition to the new characters, new storylines will also be explored. Ever wanted to know what led Zeus to form the anti-Odin coalition, or what exactly happened to the officers who were sent to investigate the enemy forces? You’ll be able to discover the whole truth while unlocking the all-new True Ending to the saga with the gods.
Throw in some extra game modes, including that of Infinity Mode, and fantastic new magical abilities and Sacred Treasures, and it’s easy to see how KOEI TECMO and Omega Force are going about delivering the definitive Warriors Orochi 4 experience.
